About Me

I’m a creative free spirit trapped in the body of a responsible and practical first child.

I’m a twenty-something  stumbling through this life as best as I can. I used to be a tax accountant; I didn’t enjoy it. So after a year of careful planning, I quit and began to pursue my dreams. Now I’m a freelance writer and editor. (And a part-time nanny.)

I love planning my schedule and budget, but I hate sticking to schedules and budgets. I love vintage clothes but have yet to master the art of wearing them. I am a huge college football fan but could care less about the NFL. I love Oklahoma with all my heart, but I suffer from an acute case of wanderlust. I’m always a maid of honor, never a bridesmaid. I drink dark beer, sweet champagne, and lots of Dr. Pepper. I believe you shouldn’t worry what others think, but you should worry what others feel.
